Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
By creating an account or using ScanServe you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Questions: .
The service
ScanServe lets restaurants publish a digital menu, receive table orders from guests who scan a QR code, and manage those orders. Guests do not need an account.
Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. Each account is for one restaurant or branch.
Free trial and paid plans
- New accounts get a free trial of 7 days with no card needed.
- To continue, choose a paid plan by messaging us. You pay us by UPI or bank transfer and we give you an activation code. Entering the code in your dashboard activates the plan for the period you paid for.
- Plans do not renew automatically. When a plan ends, guests can still see your menu but cannot place orders until you activate a new plan.
- Each plan allows a maximum number of tables. Prices and limits may change for future purchases; we will not change a plan you have already paid for.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, taxes (including GST), food quality and safety, and for fulfilling orders you receive.
- You must not upload content that is illegal, misleading, or that you do not have the right to use.
- You must not try to disrupt, copy, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other restaurants' data.
Payments between guests and restaurants
ScanServe is not a party to the sale between a restaurant and its guests. UPI payments go directly to the restaurant. Restaurants confirm payments themselves.
Availability
The service needs an internet connection and depends on third-party providers. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limit of liability
To the extent allowed by law, ScanServe is provided "as is" and we are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan in the three months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using ScanServe at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
